Physical Development

Outside the children have been interested in racing games with the bikes and the scooters.

They started by just exploring and learning how to use the wheeled toys. Learning how to negotiate the space especially when there is a lot of other children doing the same can be quite tricky.

Some of the children showed real perseverance learning to ride the scooter and did not give up until had conquered 'SCOOTING'.

It is important children have opportunities to develop gross motor skills and the chance to practice and consolidate those skills.
